It’s the kind of celebrity pairing that seems almost too good to be true. You’ve got a rising star of the silver screen – a former child star who has now grown into a gorgeous young lady – and the son of the most famous footballer on the planet. It’s a perfect fairytale romance. Yes, that’s right; Carrie actress Chloe Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham finally made their relationship public this week (check out the cute instagram of them at the bottom of this page!).
They stepped out as a couple at the premiere of Bad Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising, in which Moretz plays a hard partying sorority leader with mayhem on her mind. It’s another interesting role for the actress, who seems to be making a habit of picking diverse characters and performances. We first saw her as a teeny tiny assassin in Kickass. Now, she’s all grown up and she’s got critics falling at her feet. We can’t wait to see what she does next.
Oh, and did we mention that she’s quite the style queen too? Check out some of her finest hairstyle moments and learn how to wear your hair like Chloe Grace Moretz.
The Prettiest Quiff
We love this fashion shoot that Moretz did just recently, because it lets her strong features speak for themselves. The actress is quite girly and feminine, even while off duty, so it’s nice to discover a different side to her. The whole shoot has a slightly androgynous, edgy vibe and that perfectly coiffured quiff is the thing that makes it. If you want to embrace your inner tomboy, you’ll need some sturdy grips and some hairspray. Pin your hair up, but wear it low slung. The front needs to be left loose and slicked back James Dean style.
The Minimalistic Updo
When Moretz stepped out with her new beau, all eyes were on her. And not just because she had a Beckham on her arm. The Let Me In star wowed in a delicate lace dress and minimal makeup. She kept her hairstyle simple, but it works really well, because that outfit doesn’t need a big, bold ‘do. This updo is subtle and gentle, just like her gown, and it drapes softly around those high cheekbones. It’s pretty versatile, so it could be worn for a lunch date, a party, or drinks with friends. If you wear hair extensions, make sure that you blend them well with natural hair first, or the clips will be visible when you create your chignon.
The Sassy Side Sweep
The talented young star is usually content to wear a bit of a curl in her hair. We have all the love in the world for ladies who can embrace their inner bounce, here at ClipHair, but we’ve also got a major soft spot for sleek and chic barnets. This lovely look is a perfect example of how to do straight hair right. It’s simple, but elegant, and the side swept fringe adds just the right amount of catwalk sass and swagger. This style is a wonderful way to show off clip in in extensions, because all you have to do is attach them, spritz them with hairspray, and wear them with confidence.
The Carefree Braid
In promotional shots for handbag company, Coach, Moretz is pictured looking natural, spirited, and carefree. Her hair is up and away from her face, in a chunky braid, which almost has a kind of Gallic feel to it. This is a low maintenance style, for ladies on the go. If you get up on a Sunday morning and you want to head straight out into the summer sun, pull your hair back into a loose plait and you’re good to go. For a touch more elegance, you can backcomb the front of your hair to get that hint of a quiff and add one piece clip in extensions for more length.
