Two super quick ways to create long ponytails looks

We all love long hair, it is versatile and looks great in pictures. I am so in love with my long locks but the wind has definitely made my hair go a little crazy the last few days. One of my favourites go to styles to keep hair out of my eyes and under control is a ponytail. Ponytails don’t have to be boring and I have been trying some super cute styles recently. Today I am going to share some of these styles and show you how to achieve them yourself in this step-by-step tutorial. The super cute twist

The look I am about to show you is so simple and can literally be done on the go. I wear this as a day look quite regularly but is also a great first date style. It is a straight hair look though so if you have curly locks it is time to straighten your hair before you go out. Brush your hair and make sure it is tangle and fly away free before you create a side part. Gather your hair into a low ponytail and secure with a thin hair tie. Create a gap above your hair tie and flip your ponytail up and through it. This will create two twists just above your ponytail. Tug on your twists that form to make them bigger and tighten hair tie to bring twists together. You are done! It is so easy and looks so cute too.

The chic low ponytail

This style is so hot and perfect for a night out. Like the previous style, you are going to straight look so add some heat protecting serum and straighten your hair. If you have flyaways like me add some hair wax throughout to get rid of any of them. Next, comb your hair back so it bump free and secure in a low ponytail. You can attach your hair extensions around the hair tie to add some extra body to your ponytail. You can pull out some face-framing hairs then take a 1-inch section from the top of the ponytail wrap your hair around your hair tie tightly a few times.

Each time you wrap it around make sure that you are moving downwards so it is flat. Grab a small section of hair from the back of the ponytail and join it with the extra section and continue travelling down the top third of your ponytail, add more hair to the back and work your way up. To secure twist the strand of hair around a bobby pin and conceal the pin at the nape of your neck. If you are going to be doing lots of dancing I would take a couple of extra hair pins incase your wrap gets bumped
