Steal their style MTV Movie and TV awards

One of the most fun events of the year (and my personal favourite) the MTV awards is always filled will laughter, festivity and fashion. This year did not disappoint! With people like Goldie Hawn, Amy Schumer and Emma Watson these women rocked the stage with amazing jokes, speeches and of course awards. If you didn’t catch it, don’t worry it will be all over news channels and the internet today. The thing we all know you love the most is the fashion, gossip and epic pictures from awards nights, we have a little of each to quench your thirst so keep reading for all the latest from the MTV Awards.

Emma Watson:

Rocking her speech as she collected her golden popcorn Emma Watson winning the first ever gender-neutral award. This award caused a stir leading up to the ceremony but we love the idea, after all it is totally right that we all get judged on our talents and not what body we are born in. Emma could not have looked more like a boss in her one armed halter neck dress. If you have short hair she will probably be your idol at the moment with this slick back, no part wet look you made the right choice.

Fast & Furious

Vin Diesel paid homage to friend and co-star Paul Walker as the cast accepted their Generation Award and hopes they did their friend proud. With such a successful enterprise of films that keep us speed freaks on the edge of our seats, we are sure he is. Both Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster looked amazing for the ceremony on Sunday in LA but with very different looks. Michelle was every bit the killer sexy look with her long silky mane, the aid of a few extensions and a skin tight dress she matched her strong personality perfectly. whilst Michelle went edgy Jordana opted for a much more soft look. Her gelled and tied back sophisticated up do and flowing dress was a long way from the oil grease of the Fast and Furious set.

Milly Boby Brown

The very emotional, very stylish Milly Bobby Brown was overwhelmed and delighted to have won the award for Best actor in a Tv series for Stranger Things. This Netflix series has been a hit and Milly’s character is one we cannot take our eyes off. There were plenty of tears as she accepted her golden popcorn but they weren’t her only accessories. Milly donned a long sleeved shimmery white sequenced dress and a blue awareness ribbon. She looked a lot like Emma in the hair department with a gorgeous slicked back style. This makes us wonder if the traditional flower power look that usually floods the streets and festivals at summer will have to give way to this edgier sleeker look for both long and short haired ladies. We think it will for some but the flower powered look will still be a huge hit!
