We have all heard of the Kardashians. In fact, there are very few women as famous, or as controversial, right now as Kim Kardashian – the star of the show. Well, at least she used to be. If little sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner continue to make waves as big in 2015 as they did this year, it will not be long before the crown is passed on to the babies of the family.

They are not so little anymore, however, and the world has watched these two sisters grow up over the last few years. Like many child stars, they have spent those awkward teenage years in the spotlight, and it hasn’t always been an easy ride. In 2013, the sisters were snapped leaving a nightclub looking a little worse for wear – the problem was that they were still underage at the time.

It is difficult to forget the star turn that Kendall Jenner made during her very first catwalk show, and it is even harder to forget the scandal that erupted over the decision to dress her sheer clothing. This plucky teen was not to be discouraged though, and shot a racy fashion shoot just weeks after turning eighteen. The Early Years

Whether fair or otherwise, Kylie and Kendall Jenner were scrutinised by the Hollywood media machine right from their early teens. As if being a teenager wasn’t hard enough, without the paparazzi taking a pop at your outfit. At least they could always count on a good hair day, as both sported poker straight chestnut tresses. The Rising Stars

There might have been a few mishaps along the way, but Kylie and Kendall Jenner were always keen to step out of the shadow of big sister Kim, and make their mark – which is precisely what they did with a series of lucrative modelling contracts. Whilst Kendall has been stomping the catwalk for designers like Marc Jacobs, and appearing on multiple Vogue covers, for some time now, it has taken little sister Kylie a little longer to figure things out. This year, she reportedly quit modelling in order to pursue a music career. She also cut her hair, and rocked a seriously stylish mid length jet black bob. We have yet to see Kendall follow suit, as she seems to prefer her tresses long and fabulous.

The Here and Now

It is amazing what a difference a couple of years can make. Today, both Kylie and Kendall Jenner are household names in their own right, with both gaining column inches by the bucket load. Whilst Kendall recently shot her third Vogue cover, Kylie has become a fashion icon for millions – her recent mermaid green dip dye hairdo made waves around the world, with many style addicts rushing out to replicate the look.
