Producer, author, actress and all round amazing woman Drew Barrymore the inspiration of the blog today. We all know her from ET and Charlie’s Angels but she is back and taking the screens by storm in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet. She has always rocked her lovely hourglass figure beautifully and I love her laid back Soho bohemian style. A huge part of what she is known for is her lovely brunette locks (even though we have seen her blonde so many times) because whether they are textured or sleek they always look fab. Let’s check out some of her styles so we can steal them.

Causally glamorous
This thoughtful and elegant photo shoot looks amazing and is super easy to achieve. The softness of the hairstyle is perfect to compliment Drew’s soft clothing style. The softness in this look comes from the loose curls near her temples and in the ponytail. To give it a modern twist add some volume at your crown and gather your hair into a low ponytail. Make sure you cover your hair tie by wrapping some strands of hair around your hair tie.

The birthday worth style
This hairstyle looks amazing with Drew’s lace white dress. Is it no wonder that she has chosen to wear it at her birthday party. The juxtaposition between a fancy outfit and a messy ‘undone’ look is becoming more and more popular and I personally think Drew is on point here. Make sure you add some texturising spray to your hair to keep it looking casual and if your hair is too short then add your hair extensions around a ponytail. It is really easy to conceal them here.

Flower power inspiration
This may be a little over the top but think of it as inspiration. It is spring so flowers are everywhere and look incredible, why not use them? Real or shop bought flowers are the easiest way to update your hair wardrobe, so to speak. There are a lot of ways to incorporate flowers into your hair from a flower crown to braiding or putting in flower hair grips. If you really want that 70’s vibe add waves to your hair like Drew.

Uptown girl
A little different from her usual bohemian style. If you want to go from casual to sleek, grab your straighteners. If you have decorative earrings or a patterned dress, like Drew does here, go simple with your hair. Grab your serum and straighten your locks. They will look incredible with extra length so if your hair is only mid-length pop in some hair extensions. A centre parting suits most people’s face shape so if you are in doubt opt for a centre parting.

The easy on the go look
If you have second day (or even third day) hair and you are in a rush this half-up style is definitely the way to go. To give it a more deliberate look try lightly curling your hair to create loose waves and spray with hairspray.
