London fashion week 2017 recap

As always the London Fashion Week is providing us with stunning fashion, models and beauty inspiration. There is not a pleat or a braid that is not deliberately out of place. This year is all about bright colours, bold looks and loads of patterns! From Mimi Wade’s printed fabric style to AV Robertson’s Japanese influences line there is something here to inspire and amaze everyone. Although our fashion week was far less political than NYFW the beauty trends on the models are set to do just that, start trends. Nothing says high end fashion like taking looks to their extreme and we the biggest and best versions of both backcombed and sleek manes. Let’s check out some of the classic looks that appeared on the runways in London this Fashion Week.

Layered from head to toe

This is one of the simplest styles of the year, well in terms of hair at least. The layers have gone artistic and multi-patterned and gorgeously complimented (and held together) by a thin waist belt. When you have so much going on with your outfit the last thing you want is to have too much going on with your hair. This simple straight haired look is perfect for a casual occasion and if you have a heart shaped face layered hair is your best friend.

Welcome back middle parting

There is some strong looks that are popular on the runway this Fashion Week. Heavy eyebrows and centre partings are set to be a hot trend. This ultimate combination is a match made in heaven for those who love androgynous glamour. This works perfect either as a dressed down jeans and t-shirt or in a dressed up chiffon look. The key to this look is zero fly aways so whatever you do get out that hairspray and go to town.

Romantic and Accessorized

In an angelic version of a gothic mess this style is absolutely stunning and possibly the most exciting hair trend to come out of this month’s London Fashion Week. We love the mix of stylish accessory like a bow or jewelled headband in combination with a messy up do. It is so easy to switch from a casual day look with a messy top knot to this romantic style. Either go feminine, like was the trend on the catwalk, or make it more edgy. Whatever you do there is no going wrong, this look is just too stunning.
