2017 has been a year that hair trends have taken off! It feels like whichever way you turn women are perfecting their locks and getting bolder with their style. It isn’t just us that are shaking things up through some of the biggest celebrities are adding clip in hair extensions, dying and restyling all over the place. After a tricky year of health issues, Selena Gomez is showing us all that she is not only back into full health but is booming. If you liked this pop babe’s luscious brunette locks them you may well have been shocked to see that she cut and dyed her hair blonde. She looks way more rock and roll with her side-parted shaggy bob and her hair seems so much fuller too. I suspect that she added some extensions and they look great.

This Mexican beauty is known for gorgeous dark features but she turned heads this year when she went pink. So many people think this is just a millennials thing but Salma is proving that every woman can rock pastel pink like a boss. This reminds me a little of Katy Perry’s videos and it goes to show that this look works perfectly with a vintage hairstyle.

This gorgeous actress is best known to us for her work in the Decadence and project runway but always as a blonde. In fact being platinum blonde was her signature so it was a surprise was she went darker this year. It definitely made her look older and so hot. Personally, I think she looks amazing as a brunette. This model is such a chameleon, not just with her style but with her career as well. She has gone from modeling to acting to being an author, it is hard to keep up with her and not get exhausted ourselves. Last year she was known for her long dirty blonde locks but this year she has chopped all that mane off and rocked a much brighter cut before strutting her stuff with a darker look not too long ago. I wonder what she will do next.

This is one of my favourite transformations of the whole year! Sophia Bush is known for her dark locks to compliment her deep brown eyes but she has gone for a whole new colour and cut this year, which really suits her. A much lighter base with balayage blonde and bonder hues throughout this style is perfect for lightening up your face. If you are in summer or thinking of a new style for summer, why not try this one? It has been super popular with loads of pictures Instagram showing off similar hues. I have not seen anyone this does not look good on. So whether you have brown eyes and dark hair or blue eyes and red, this is a must try!
