Glastonbury 2017

Jeremy Corbyn may have made an appearance at the festival but was definitely  not the act to remember. This festival sold out so quickly and we are not surprised. It is easily the best well known British music festival attraction hundreds of performers and thousands of happy festival attendees. The hottest names from all over the world flock to the somerset countryside to celebrates the arts, partying and summertime. If you didn’t get to go this year and a feeling massive festival envy, don’t worry we are here to show you the best of some of the ladies that performed over the weekend.

Du lipa

This gorgeous British Albanian singer and model rocked the festival. She may have gotten famous for doing covers of pop starlets but she definitely was holding her own over the weekend. She seemed to have loved the experience herself and her fans certainly loved her. She looked amazing with her sporty spice outfit. Her amazing emerald sweatpants and mesh pink bra-let are the stars of this look as she went for a natural look. She kept her extensions straight and subtle for a down to early centre parted look. So easy to replicate this look. Sorry but we can’t give you the body to match.

Adele

Adele was once the queen of beehived dos and little black dresses but she seems to have favoured a much more down to earth style for this year’s Glastonbury. It might be because she is now a mum or just because she is an old hand in the music business now. We love her hippie style long dress and she looks absolutely incredible with her bob. Always a lady of style she knows what suits her. We will definitely be looking out for cat eye and awesome hair do inspirations over the summer.

Katy Perry

 Whilst Miley Cyrus seems to have calmed down with her quirky styling Katy is turning the heat up. This summer she has taken the hair experimentation to a whole new level. We loved her for her pin up inspired hair styling and fairy floss extensions but she has gone for a much icier and edgier look this summer. Not many people could pull off an ice blonde pixie cut but Katy has been blessed with her bone structure. With rhinestone diamonties and a cute purple cap we would be forgiven for confusing her with a 90’s pop princess.

The fashion of the people

It wasn’t just people on stage that were rocking out their amazing and quirky outfits on the fields over the weekend. Festival goers were loving the glitter this year and taking this flower headdresses to the next level. We saw everything from leggings to leotards to barely there crop tops in the fashion department but for most people it was their hair that was the big fashion statement. Braids of all shapes, styles and sizes were here to stay as well and crimped dos but the big hit of the festival season is definitely the extensions with bold colours to liven up your look.
