Who are double weft extensions for?
The big difference between single and double weft extensions is how thick they are. Double weft extensions are literally 2 wefts of hair sewn together on the same seem as you would a single weft extension. Double weft extensions are brilliant for adding a lot of volume without having to have loads of clip. So, who are they for? Ideally, double weft extensions are best suited to those of you who have slightly thinner hair. If you have finer hair you may find it harder to hide all the clips that you need to have lovely thick locks. Cliphair’s double weft extensions are perfect for you because they give you all the volume you want without loads of clips to hide.
How do you put them in?
Everyone is different so please keep in mind your head shape and hair type. The easiest way to put in your double weft extensions is to start at your earlobe height. This will make sure that you have enough length but that it is still easy to blend and looks natural. Make sure that you have an even hair part for the best result and work your way up in rows to your temples. Finish by putting the smaller sections at the side of your head.
How to take care of double weft extensions?
Like all extensions, you need to show your Cliphair double weft extensions some love to keep them looking fabulous for longer. I don’t wear my extensions everyday bit I wash them after every use. I find that this keeps them soft, healthy and tangle free for my next use. I do tend to style with heat when I go out so I really make sure I give my extensions that extra TLC.
I wash mine in cold water as this helps with shine and to keep them healthier for longer. I also make sure that my shampoo and conditioner are sulphate free. The final thing is to use a treatment once a month.
Because these extensions are extra thick you cannot really hold them in a big bundle and brush them all together. Particularly if you have had some product in your hair make sure that you lay each piece out. The best way to de-knot is to start from the ends and work you want gentle up towards your clips.
