Celeb Hairstyle Steals: Post Lockdown Hair Transformations
Now that we can actually go out to places with friends, we are seeing more celebs come out post lockdown hair transformations and we've been learning plenty of new hair tricks from each other (points for anyone who used the lockdown to learn some cool new tips and tricks!). Some of our fav celebrities have debuted some new post-lockdown hairstyles that we just fell in love with! We take a look at some of the latest celebrity hairstyles that are worthy of stealing.
Kate Middleton’s Sunkissed Highlights
Kate Middleton revealed her new sun kissed warm hairstyle on a visit to a Baby Bank earlier this week. The Duchess of Cambridge is known for her shiny, glossy brown-reddish hair, so this is a big change for the Royal. Her new look is blonder with streaked caramel highlights – a great choice as the weather keeps getting warmer. If you are thinking of changing your look for post-lockdown life without making drastic changes, then make like Kate and switch up your look by subtly adding some summery, glowy highlights for the summer.
Kylie Jenner and Stassie’s Matching Dark Waves
Kylie Jenner and her new BFF Stassie Karanikolaou switched it all the way up when Kylie posted a picture of the pair twinning from head to toe (literally) – making it very hard to tell them apart. The key to their matching look is definitely in the hair and make-up. For hair, both Kylie and Stassie wore super long, waist-length chocolate brown hair extensions, with loose waves and a middle part. Although we are not sure whether this is a look here to stay or for an upcoming collection, we are absolutely in love with those inches! The chocolate brown shade with rich, warm brown and golden undertones (you know how these colours shine through under direct sunlight right?).
Dani Dyer’s Heatless (and voluminous) Waves
Love Island’s 2018 winner (and Britain’s reality TV sweetheart) revealed an overnight hair styling tip that has changed our lives! The pregnant star (with new boyfriend Sammy) revealed on her Instagram how to achieve voluminous curls using a dressing gown belt and NO heat (yes, you heard right- and it works!). We all know how regular use of heat tools can damage your hair, and well plaiting isn’t an easy feat for everyone. And this trick is the answer to all these problems. The star demonstrated how to achieve the look: 1. Evenly part your hair before tying one side out of the way. 2. Brushing your hair and lift a dressing gown belt on to the top of your hair. 3. Twist your hair with a belt from a robe. “Get the front part of your hair and put it over the dressing gown, then get another bit of hair from behind and put it under,' she said. Dani was wearing extensions during the tutorial, so get yours and try this new, easy hack!
