That’s right guys half term is finally here so there will be lots of crazy kids running around but also some lazy mornings in. When you have your hands full of house chores or social events with mates you don’t have time to spend hours on your hair. I have put together a couple of stunning and easy styles that will take you from chores to a date easily and without retouching. If like me, you have planned a getaway then these ones are also great for travelling in the plane, no need to spend ages refreshing in the hotel room before you hit the town sightseeing. Keep reading below to check out these stunning half term styles.

Tied up in knots

This is a fun half-up style that looks great for a day out and is super easy. Divide the section at the top of your crown and tease it slightly to create somebody and tie into a mini ponytail. Tug on the strands at the top slightly so that it doesn’t go flat after you tie it up. Get the strands left over at the sides and twist them, tugging on it gently to help the twists stand out. Cross them underneath your ponytail and create a knot over the top of it. This is super easy to do, imagine you are tying your shoelaces, once you have created your knot pin it in place so that the pin can’t be seen. Add some hair extensions on the loose section and scrunch with some mousse for amazing thickness and texture.

A gorgeous side fishtail

Fishtails are brilliant for any type of weather. So get started by creating a centre parting from the top of your head to your front hairline. You also want to create a horizontal parting from the top of your centre parting to behind your ears. If you are planning to wear extensions be careful to avoid these partings. Focus on the section at the back and split in half. Take a small section from the outside of your left half and drape it up and over to the right half. Repeat the opposite way. Continue creating a straight fishtail down to the bottom of your neck and then start to angle it to one side so that you can put it over your shoulder. Tie it up with a clear elastic hair tie and tug on each section of your fishtail to give it more texture. Release the side sections create rows, lightly curling the ends away from your face. Twist the curl and pull it through the top of your fishtail but if they are too short to pull through drape them back and pin them in place. If you want this to look more romantic then leave some curls framing your face. This will work perfectly for a special occasion or if you want something that will make your holiday photos look incredible.
