However, we know it isn’t always easy to nail that voluminous look, but don’t fret, we’ve listed some awesome big hair hairstyles that are guaranteed to make your hair look like you’re the head hairdresser in Selena Gomez’s glam squad.

A lot of people seem to get intimidated by this style of extensions due to the hair thickness, but you don’t need to be. They are just as versatile as most of your other forms of extensions and help you tackle the dreaded flat hair without weighing down your roots.

These are some of our favourite super easy, yet so glam Ultra Volume weft looks, perfect for everyday wear and special occasions. But to make things super easy for you, we’ve created FOUR different styles from the same hair. We know it takes a while to curl your hair, so what better way to get the most of your curls/ waves than to prep them once, and style them as much as you like.

So, check out these looks and show off your extra thick Instagram-worthy hair.

1. Big Waves for Big Hair (back to index)

Because these extensions are 240 – 280g, the thought of curling thick hair can be intimidating. It is easy to curl your Ultra Volume wefts though, and Hollywood glam waves are the most perfect, stunning curls for extra thick hair extensions!

Clip in your Ultra Volume clip in hair extensions and spray some heat protection spray before getting started. Start by putting your hair up in a ponytail and take out a small section from the back. Hold that section of hair out and place your curling tong at the roots of your hair wrap your hair inwards around it, while holding it in a horizontal position. Leave your hair on the heating tool for 30 seconds, and once you take the tongs out, leave the hair to cool for five to ten minutes. Move onto the next section of your hair, making sure you are tonging it all in the same direction and letting it cool.

2. The Super-glam Extra Thick Ponytail (back to index)

This is a super easy look to achieve with your Ultra Volume wefts. First, put some serum into your hair where the lower half of your hair is already curled. After that, create a side or middle part in your hair and gather your hair into a neat ponytail.

Make sure you use some gel to slick in the front baby ends; use the end half of a tail comb gel in any fly-away hairs.

Add your Ultra Volume weft hair extensions by clipping them around the top of your ponytail so it looks super thick. Add a hair clip or wrap some hair around the base where you joined the natural hair and extensions and secure with a pin underneath. Spritz on some alcohol-free hairspray to finish off your glam and gorgeous sleek look.

3. The Instagram-cutie Side Braid (back to index)

To begin this look, make sure your hair and extra thick human hair extensions are thoroughly brushed don’t have any knots. We recommend using a detangling hairbrush specifically designed for hair extensions. If you are using dry shampoo on second-day hair, make sure it is massaged in completely. If you haven’t had time to wash your hair, this braid style is great to conceal greasy roots.

Clip in your extra thick human hair extensions and finger tease your roots for extra oomph. Pick a small section of hair from one side and create a normal three-strand braid all the way to the end. Make sure all your strands of hair are tightly in your braid. This is a lovely style for casual look that still slays – perfect for pretty summer days.

4. The Voluminous Half Up Half Down Look (back to index)

This hairstyle is such a stunning do, perfect for any occasion, and it’s a style that lets your hair AND your face to do the talking. Use your Ultra Volume extra thick human hair extensions to get the desired hair and body for this look. Make sure that your hair and extensions are thoroughly brushed with a detangling hairbrush first.

Part your hair horizontally, placing the Ultra Volume weft extensions in line with your ears as it is the widest section of your head. Let down a thin layer of hair to help conceal the top of the wefts then gather the rest of your hair into a high ponytail and secure it. Pinch your hair at your hairline so it doesn’t look too flat and that’s your look finished!

If you prefer, you can take the side wefts out to keep the top half nice and discreet.
