On Wednesday morning, Gigi Hadid took to Instagram to share her ever so angelic pregnancy pictures from her maternity shoot– and WE ARE IN LOVE!
The model is supposedly five months pregnant, with her beau, singer, Zayn Malik. The pair are expecting their first child together, whom is reportedly expected to be a baby girl.
The glamorous black and white photos, shot against soft grey or white backdrops, show Gigi with her growing baby bump, wearing a stunning floor-length white dress by brand DI PETSA as she cradles her stomach. In other pictures, she is wearing a sheer, flowy bell-sleeved minidress. The pictures were taken by fashion photographers duo Luigi and Iango in Italy back in July.
In the first picture, Gigi has hair her slicked back and captioned it “growin an angel :)”. In the following pictures, we can see her wavy hair in a gorgeous brunette shade flowing down her back (much darker than her signature blonde, which she debuted on her story just days prior). In one of the photos, she dedicates a note to her friends who helped create this angelic photoshoot, as well as family and fans. She captioned "Cherishing this time. Appreciate all the love & well wishes. Will never forget creating these special images with my friends @luigiandiango @gabriellak_j @erinparsonsmakeup thank you. I love you!".
Although the images Gigi shared were taken by professional photographers, and are professional images, it appears these photos were shot for the couple’s personal keep rather than for any specific magazines.
The news about the couple’s pregnancy was confirmed back in April 2020, when Gigi appeared on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show, via a video call. She sated ‘"Obviously, we wish we could have announced it on our own terms. But we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support." The super also made a statement that she was taking her time to share it publicly. She stated, "that's a reason that I felt that it's not really something that I need to share apart from with my family and friends,". "Obviously a lot of people have lost lives due to coronavirus that was in the beginning of quarantine and still happening. And then we moved obviously into the re-emergence of the BLM [Black Lives Matter] movement, and I thought that our presence on social media should be used for that."
Her mother, Yolanda Hadid previously shared her excitement about the news of Gigi’s pregnancy. She told Dutch entertainment channel RTL Boulevard, "I can't wait to become a grandmother,".
It won't be long before Gigi is a mum, and we are super excited for the couple, we are sure they can’t wait to become parents!
