With 13 reasons why season 2 on Netflix it is all everyone is talking about! Hard hitting, issue sensitively and brilliantly performed, I absolutely love it. Katherine Langford played Hannah Baker in seasons 1 and 2 and she was great. This Aussie babe one so many fans for her performance and her low key beauty. Let’s check out some of her key looks so you can steal her style.
The casual straight look
During the show, Katherine always had her classic undone curly hairstyle so it is nice to see her with a different look. She is rocking a totally 60’s look for this photoshoot with her bright orange top and lips and those dangly valuable earrings. If you want to be really 60’s it is all about volume. This swept back look may look super casual but extensions and teasing are essential to creating this lovely volume. If you want that lovely effortless look don’t add hair serum, try texturising spray instead.
The wavy ponytail
This looks so classic and elegant. The hair says it is ready for a school formal but the t-shirt is all about low key fun. Mixing a super casual and formal look has become fashionable in the last few years, so this look is on trend. She kept her makeup understated to make her earrings and hairstyle pop. With the exception of a bit of teasing at the crown most of the styling of this look can be done in the ponytail which makes it super easy to manage, even in a rush. Split the ponytail into three for even curls and gently run your fingers through them afterwards for loose waves. If it is as windy as it has been recently made sure that you add some hairspray so your waves stay in place.
The Met look
Katherine looks radiant and like a true Hollywood a-lister in this red and gold sequent gown. She has a bit of a Game Of Thrones vibe going on here with her centre parted curled look. Well, if you are going to look like a queen, you need to have a crown. She definitely delivered with her golden headband and clips that are the best way to make this look go to the next level. This works so well because it is colour coordinated, in this case, it is gold and red but even if you can’t do that, it will still be very bohemia and blow people away.
The chunky braid
This side braid is chunky and is one of my favourite looks for this summer. Pre curling the top half of your hair may seem like a bit of effort but it is the best way to turn this style into something spectacular. You can wear this to something high class like this or casual but whichever you opt for, make sure you pinch the sections and twist some strands around your hair tie to give it the perfect finishing touch.
