Fans of Georgie Shore and I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here will be pleased to see two reality show worlds colliding this month, in the form of I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp. The irrepressible Vicky Pattison (winner of the 15th cycle) has returned to dish the gossip on all of the action down in the Aussie jungle.
Alongside two other former bush champions, she’s been going behind the scenes to show viewers everything that happens after the ITV show finishes for the night. The glamorous girl is part of the Geordie Shore alumni as well, so she’ll be very familiar to telly watchers. If you’re looking for hair inspiration, she can offer it in spades, with those rich, chocolate tresses.
Keep reading to find out how to steal her style and give the queen of the Jungle Extra camp a little competition.
The Oversized Fishtail
Pattinson has got into the habit of posting pics of her studio outfits to Instagram, so that followers can get a sneak peek at what she’ll be wearing. We love this floral dress and oversized fishtail combo, because it is light and summery. It might be dreary over here, but in Australia, they’re in the middle of their summer, so this style is perfect. Plus, the broad fishtail can be easily repurposed for a more wintery vibe. Selena Gomez was recently spotted wearing hers towards the back, like a pony, and paired with a chunky retro scrunchy.
The Gentle Sidesweep
For a hairstyle that is a little softer, ditch the fishtail and style your clip in hair extensions so that they fall into tumbling curls. This is pretty easy to do; you just need to hold and release the curling irons a little sooner than you would for tighter, spiral shaped curls. After finishing each section, spritz with hairspray. Then, gently brush through the curls with a broad, flat brush to get that relaxed, beachy look. Hair extensions are ideal for this ‘do, because the more length that you have, the more of those loose waves you can accommodate.
The Super Practical Braids
We all have days when we need a practical hairstyle. For Vicky Pattinson, it is when she travels, which she does a lot. Whether it’s powering through a flight delay or sunning herself on a tropical island, this style queen always looks good. We like that she’s gone for a really simple no fuss style here. It looks feminine and gorgeous, but it is very low maintenance. The double French braid is just about the easiest style that you can wear (after a ponytail), so protect your hair extensions from a punishing schedule by tying them up in this nifty way.
The Ultimate Glamourpuss
If you really want to make a statement with your extensions this winter, it is time to go poker straight. It’ll take a little time and care for wavy and curly girls to make it happen, but it is worth the effort. If possible, pick up an anti-frizz smoothing spray or balm. Apply it to your tresses after you’ve finished styling and they should stay smoother for longer. This ‘do would work wonderfully with blunt bangs too. It is exactly the kind of style that complements that modern, angular vibe. Tuck the sides neatly behind your ears and create a strong, straight centre part.
