Bye bye, Pete Megan is showing off her single style with a new hair, don’t care attitude. There may be some of you that are sad about the split but Megan doesn’t seem to be one of them as she rocked the launch of her extension line today. Before to after

oooh! She looks so hot. She has colour matched her hair extensions to her natural light brunette beautifully. She turned her mid-length straight locks into a long, wavy style with lots of body. She kept her centre parting but other than that it is a complete transformation. Keep reading to get the style yourself.

Preparation

What Megan essential has done has created a super cute Bardot look. So if you want the same style you need to start with the clean damp hair. We want your hair to be nice and texturised so start by lightly spraying it with salt spray before you blow dry it. If you have a round brush, grab it! It is perfect for this look.

Add that oomph

now that your hair is nice and dry it is time to add your clip in hair extensions. Like Megan you will want to make sure that you colour match your extensions correctly. Brush all of your hair so that it blends and divide a small section.

Create your curl

Spritz your section with alcohol-free hair spray and wrap the end of your section around a Velcro hair curler. Roll it all the way down to your head, it should stay in place but have some hair pins handy just in case. Repeat this all over your head and allow it to set for about 45 minutes.

Time to make your shape

 Create a shallow centre parting and blow dry forward the section that would be your fringe to get a lovely shape that frames your face. The Bridget Bardot look is known by the prominent crown so take small sections at the top of your head and at your crown and backcomb it near your roots. Make sure that you smooth it over with a trusty paddle brush afterwards to make sure that your teased roots or extension clips are not on the show. The last thing Megan’s stylist did to bring this vintage look into 2017 is lightly curl ends of her hair to get your serum and curling wand and get busy.

The finishing touches

This hairstyle is a statement all on its own so there is not anything that you need to add to make it any my glamourous. Whenever I curl my hair I always make sure that I gently scrunch in some alcohol-free hair mousse so that it holds but is still full of bounce.
