There is no doubt that celebrities inspire and lead some of our fashion trends. That is only natural because they always have it done professionally and look stunning. Today I want to share with you two stunning looks from two women that are amazing at what they do and have birthdays this month. There were a few August birthdays babies to choose from and the three we are going to use for our hair inspiration today is Cameron Diaz and Kristen Wiig. These women are hilarious and I love watching their films. Keep reading this step-by-step guide to achieving their styles.
This Ghostbusters star has made many of us burst out laughing but she is actually a bit of a hippie in real life. She loves yoga and was far too millennial in attitude for Jerry Seinfeld in Comedians in cars getting coffee. That might explain this bohemian look. She has recently chopped off her locks and dyed them but I love this style and feel like it shows a little more of her bohemian style. This is brilliant for second-day hair as the texture is key. To start it scrunch in some mousse into your locks and if your hair is on the greasy side, sleep with some dry shampoo in the night before. To get the texture you want throughout the rest of your hair spritz it with some texture spray and brush it through so it is evenly proportioned. Crete a side part and gather your hair into a low ponytail. Create a gap above the hair tie and loop the ponytail around a few times. Pin the rest of the ends of your hair under the twists, pull out some face-framing strands of hair and you are done.
I am in love with this slightly darker ombre blonde that Cameron has been rocking recently, it looks amazing on her. One o the best ways to show off ombre tones is in a braid, which is what she is obviously doing here. First thing to do is to create some volume at the back of your crown so divide the hair at your crown into rows, tease the roots and add a few extension pieces for more volume. This makes it look like you have gone to a lot of trouble with your style. Now create a side parting and take sections from your hairline either side of you part to curl them. Once you have done that it is time to gather the rest of your hair at the back and divide it in half. Create a fishtail braid by taking a small section from the outside of the right half and place it inside the left half. Now take a section of hair from the outside of the left half and put it inside the right half and pull your cross tight. Continue this all the way to the end of your hair and secure with a hair tie that matches your outfit to finish.
