Fishtail hairstyles always look amazing. They are intricate and can make everything you do with it look really interesting. It doesn’t matter if you want a good impression at work or try something new for a day out on the town, fishtail braids will make it better. Today I want to show you 2 of my favourite styles that incorporate fishtail braids in them. These step-by-step tutorials will make them easy and look great. Keep reading and don’t forget to #wearcliphair

Half up fishtail style

This half-up style is great for day and night looks. Being by teasing your crown and adding extensions. Plump up the back and pin so it looks like a mini beehive. Create a centre part from your hairline to in front of your beehive then take an inch section in front of your beehive either side of your centre part.  Start with the left side of your part. Divide it in half. Take a small part from outside your left half and place it inside the right half. Now take a small section from outside the right side and connection inside the left. Continue till the end then secure with a hair tie. Repeat with the right braid. Pinch the braids so they look fuller and even all the way down. Bring the sections together at the back. Unpin the back of your beehive twist the bottom with the braids incorporated. Take out the bottom of the braids. Curl the end of your hair and you are done.

Fabulous fishtail wreath

This style is a little fancier and is well worth the time you spend on it. Add your Cliphair hair extensions at the base of your neck and at your crown. Gather your hair at the crown and secure with a clear hair tie. Split the section in half above the ponytail and flip it up and over to create a twist. Pinch this twist to make it full. Take a section of a couple of inches wide from the front of your head. Twist the section away from your face, pinch the twist. Bring the twist around the back, towards your left temple, pin it in place. Create another braid on the left side and take it over to the right side. Gather the rest of your hair in two sections. Create a fishtail braid with each section. Secure with a clear elastic and pinch each braid. Cross your fishtail braids over under your twist braids, pin in place and you are done.
