The best thing I love about hair is that it can be so fun. You can colour it and change your styles. I love wearing my Cliphair extensions but I love changing my hair up as well. What I love to do at least once a year is change the length of my hair. From short to long, long to mid length, you get the idea. Sometimes when I am trying to grow my hair out I find it tricky to grow past a certain point. I know I am not alone. If you are a little be confused as to why this is happening, keep on reading and don’t forget #wearcliphair
What you eat not only has a huge impact on your body but your hair as well. So if you are having trouble growing your hair (and have tricky skin) think about revamping your diet and opt for healthier options. The main thing is to make sure you have a vitamin-rich diet. B vitamins have been a big thing in health magazines as it seems we are all lacking in them. They are what help make us feel energetic so it is great to make sure we have them anyways. You can find them in food such as whole grains, soy milk, tomatoes, avocados, oats, lentils or nutritional yeast.
The quality of your hair has a massive impact on the way it functions ie how fast it grows. With your hair strands literally splitting in two or three. This often happens as a result of lack of nutrient (that’s why I put diet first). The split can rise up your hair shaft and break off, definitely not what you want when you are trying to grow your hair. When you see split end cut them before they rise any further and try and make sure it doesn’t happen again. If you do think your diet is ok to think about the way you dry your hair as this can also cause split ends. Air drying your hair as much as possible this is the best way of protecting your hair.
It is not just blow drying your hair the can cause it to become damaged and therefore stop hair growth. We all know that heated tools are not great for your locks, that is why we use a heat protecting serums and sprays. The same damage that affects your own hair will also affect your hair extensions and, even though you aren’t growing your hair extensions if you want to keep them looking nice. What you want to do is ensure that your heated tools don’t weaken your hair strands, weak hair is not growing hair. Heat can contribute to things like split ends and if you want to avoid this you are going to have to shake up your hair routine. Have a week without heat every once and a while and have a deep treatment on weekly is great for hair that you want to grow.
