Steal Her Style – Little Mix

In 2011, Little Mix were called the ‘best girl band ever to appear on the X-Factor.’ And it looks like Gary Barlow may have been on to something there, because apart from superstars Girls Aloud, there have been no other truly successful all female acts. Somehow, Little Mix have managed to stand the test of time. So, what is about this whirlwind of hairspray, celeb romances, and toe tapping tunes which keeps us so fascinated? Do we love Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne, and Jade more because they know how to get us out on the dancefloor or because they always look so amazing? At ClipHair, we think it’s a bit of both! And with their new single Secret Love Song currently shooting up the charts, it’s time we took a closer look at some of their finest hairstyle moments.

Jade Thirlwall

It was only two weeks ago that the lovely Jade Thirlwall used Instagram to reveal her new ‘do. We have to say, it’s a little bit epic. The ‘blue rinse’ has been hugely popular over the last 12 months, with everybody from Orange is the New Black Star Dasha Polanco to Kelly Osbourne and Rita Ora jumping on the bandwagon. If you want to go grey, it is best to consult a stylist about the best way to dye your hair, because this is an intensive change and getting it wrong will leave you looking more like Brad Pitt than Jourdan Dunn. Once you have the desired colour and tone, if you need more length, use our free colour matching hair extension service to get seamless, affordable length.

Perrie Edwards

With rumours flying about Perrie and her recent reaction to the Pillowtalk video (Is it about her? Is it a love letter? Is it a diss track?), the attention has been firmly off her hair. But, we love this bohemian style, with its gentle parting and relaxed waves. It’s very casual and down to earth (you can definitely see her roots), but the ‘dolled up the nines’ look is not everything. Sometimes, you need to be able to throw your hair extensions up in a bun or pony and rock that low maintenance look.

Jesy Nelson

Jesy Nelson is known for her trademark cherry red extensions. She isn’t afraid to try something new either, as her brush with fake dreadlocks proved. Whilst we’re still not sure about the dreadlocks, we do love the way she curls and wears her other pieces. If you want to make like Jesy and rock tight corkscrew curls, but still maintain the length, the best option is to pick up a clip in extension. However, if you’re planning to use curling tongs or straightening irons on your hair extensions, make sure they’re compatible first.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock

The beautiful Leigh-Anne Pinnock likes to keep things natural. She’s regularly seen with super curly tresses and the funkiest of braids. This particular braided look is really pretty, but it can be quite tricky to pull off. For a start, Leigh-Anne has wound coloured threads into her braids and this would really need to be done at a salon. You can, however, rope in a friend with steady hands and put together these five tight, equally spaced, braids for yourself. As with the Jesy Nelson style (above), the more length you have, the better the end result.
