Gorgeous heart style for valentine’s day

Valentine’s day maybe with a date or with friends, it doesn’t really matter as long as you are celebrating love. The big symbol of this day has to be the love heart. Today I wanted to show you a cute style that is not too over the top but it does have a heart in it. This is so sweet and is perfect for romantics of all ages. You can absolutely create this with a ponytail, which is great if you are planning on doing any sport but a half up, half down style is far more romantic in my opinion. If you want to create you stunning hear style keep reading and don’t forget to #wearcliphair to show it off.

Step number 1: before you start your style

Before you start your style, you need to prepare for a perfect hairstyle. To prepare for this style what you have to keep in mind is heat. You will be using heated tools for this style later on so we will need heat protection. Before that though make sure you have your Cliphair extensions in for thickness and that your locks are knot free. You can now add your heat protect serum, particularly to your ends.

Step number 2: add your curls

When I curl my hair I always think it is a good idea to start at the back. A central part is what you will need later anyway so you might as well create it now. Take a section roughly 2 inches thick and tie the rest of your hair out of the way. For this style, you want to curl the section of hair away from your face. Hold it for 20-25 seconds let the curl go into your hand and keep it together with a bobby pin. Repeat this all over the rest of your hair and wait for the curls to cool, let the curls out of your pins the spritz some hairspray on so they stay put. Gently run your fingers through your curls so that your thick curls become waves.

Step number 3: create your heart

This is the part you have all been waiting for, creating your heart. First of all, you want to create a larger oval-shaped section at the back of your crown section. Split this is half and tie up two mini ponytails side by side. Take your left ponytail and start to twist it. As you are twisting consciously start to move your twist so it starts to form the dome section of the heart and pin it in place at the top of the curve to keep it into place. Continue to twist your to create your half heart shape, you will probably want to add pins on the outer curve and at the bottom. You are going to do exactly what you did on the left on the right. Cross the bottom of the right side over the left. Rearrange the bobby pins ad needed so you get your perfect heart shape. You are done!
