2 up-dos perfect for summer

We may be halfway through the season but with the weather staying warm! This is great for holidaymakers and weekend lovers alike. When you are in the office, car or public transport the last thing you want is to feel hot and bothered. These looks will help keep you cool and stylish. I have given you a mix of fancy and casual looks that will work brilliantly for you. So, keep reading and don’t forget to #wearcliphair.

Rope bun

The rope bun is so much fun and looks classy as hell. If you have coloured or multi-toned this style will really show your look off. This look is perfect for both mid and long hair, just make sure that your hair is not too thin or the braids won’t have the impact you want them to. I put in a full set of my Cliphair extensions and teased the roots at my crown. I personally hate having flat hair when I have a bun so I would recommend teasing your crown. Brush the rest of your hair so your extensions are blended beautifully then vertically divide your hair in half, securing it at the nape of your neck.

Take your left pigtail and divide it in half. Wind each half in an outwards direction all the way down. Twist the sections around each other and tie at the bottom before you repeat with the right pigtail. Take your left braid and take it over the base of the right. Keep this tight for now and Wind the right braid in an oval shape. Pin this in place and wrap it around your oval, pinning to secure pinch the braid sections gently and you are done!

Cross braid

This is a great casual look that is quick and a bit different. It looks great and will catch the eye of your friends as well. Once again I love having a voluminous crown so tease this section for a bit of extra volume. Create a centre part and divide the areas from your hairline to behind your ears. Tie the rest of your hair into a low ponytail. Twist it and wrap it around into a bun, securing it into place with your hairpins. Take the left front section to twist it towards your head then wrap it around your bun, pinning it into place. Repeat on the other side and you are finished.
